We are introducting this feature to bring you more security and to protect the stability of our network for both clients and staff.

After a numbr of attacks to staff and our network servers (Witch BTW never went offline, just caused a few 2-3gb log files), this will add a feature called "IP Flood) blocking and adding them to a deny list witch will block them from ScotNetworks and FreeTSHost main network cores. So for example if they spam our site, they will be blocked from the web server, plus the main server in general. So all communication from the "attacker" to the ScotNetworks DNS Servers will be blocked casueing it to go to 127.0.0.1 (There machine).

We will be doing this upgrade on the 4 April 2011, so please note there be a maximum of 1 hour downtime, while our technications configure the new hardware firewall.

When connecting to your server, please do not disconnect and rejoin multiple times, as this will cause your IP to get blocked and we will NOT unblock it.
